Mocktail – Ginger Downunder

Ginger cocktail with ginger and kiwi slice garnish

If there ever was a cheers-able moment I would say this is the week. We have made it through the dumpster fire of a year that is 2020 and new horizons are upon us! Can I get an AMEN!

Changes are often uncomfortable, but change is often where we grow. Were all about good growth here at WWWW HQ. So for this post, we decided to change it up from our usual cocktail to a mocktail. A healthy alternative to maybe a year of not so healthy choices. #nojudgement

GROW GIRL- GROW!

We’ve been seeing an uptick in non-alcoholic spirits lately with #dryjanurary, we decided to give it a go ourselves. The spirit I choose was whiskey because, well duh. There are other spirits like Gin, Tequila, and Vodka. This particular brand though didn’t have vodka. Perhaps KK and I will try a bunch of alternatives and let you know which are worth it.

This particular whiskey was definitely on the peated side. A peated whiskey is often described as a smokey whiskey. Generally found in Smokey Scotch, a sub type of whiskey. I’m not particularly a fan of this flavor, KK is though. We are like the yin and yang periodically. This was not a sipping whiskey in my opinion. For sure a cocktail whiskey. The best part, you can enjoy them worry free ?.
