Jessie Roberta Cowan, known as Rita Taketsuru, the mother of Japanese Whisky, was this great woman behind Masataka Taketsuru- the founder of Nikka Japanese Whisky and the first Japanese Whisky distiller. Today on the blog we look at Rita's contribution to the creation of Nikka Whisky.
